Some men from Suriname are very much concerned with the sexual well being of their female counterparts. That's why a few of them operatively put small balls called boegroes under their foreskin. It's meant to make women appreciate lovemaking a great deal more.
vpro Metropolis was a video clip job by Dutch program organisation vpro, that ranged from 2008 to 2015. Metropolis is made by a global collective of young filmmakers as well as TELEVISION producers, reporting on exceptional tales from their own country/city. We made a journey around the world on one single issue: from local beauty ideals to Elvis imitators, to what's it like being gay, or an outcast or a pet dog in different cultures.
